Guinness Cupcakes

For our Sunday tea, I made Guinness Cupcakes today. At first, there were some very mixed opinions about the use of stout and beetroot in a cake, but eventually I managed to ease my opponents. I used less sugar (only about 180g) for the batter and reduced all ingredients for the frosting because the recipe usually makes way more than I need. It added up to 100g butter, 150g cream cheese and 400g icing sugar. Moreover, I used silicone cases today which worked perfectly and cleaned very easily afterwards. Everyone agreed that they are delicious and nicely moist cupcakes.
