Greek Moussaka


Do you like lasagne? I sure do (particularly my mum's home made one) but the other day in the supermarket I thought I should try one with a twist or in other words: Greek moussaka. Basically you cut the pasta sheets from the regular lasagne and layer the tomato-mince-meat-sauce with pan fried aubergines instead. Topped off with a b├ęchamel -cheese sauce and some additional cheese on top (yep, it gets pretty cheesy) it's a very delicious dish and an excellent alternative to Italian lasagne.

    1. I'm actually not a great fan of aubergines but this was delicious!
