Olympic Day Out

Visiting the London 2012 Olympic Park and actually having tickets for one of the events (although it was 'only' the men's 3m springboard semifinals) was an absolutely amazing experience! This kind of thing - having the Olympics in your own city - is a once in a lifetime opportunity and I am so grateful for having been able to take part in it as a visitor! I have always been very interested in the Olympics and it is usually the one thing I watch all day long while it's on, but our Olympic day out meant excitement on yet another level.

  1. Wow, girl! That is SO BEYOND AWESOME! I am going to tell my boyfriend (when he wakes up) that one of my blogger friends actually witnessed the Olympics! How cool.

    1. I am totally overwhelmed by the whole Olympic experience. I will probably never go to another event again because it's SO difficult to get tickets and if it's not near you than you'll have to spend on travel and accommodation as well. One day I'm going to tell my kids about this and be still all proud that I went to the London 2012 Olympics :)
