Lemon Tart

The other day while I was watching the Great British Bake Off, I marvelled over the participants lemon tarts and thought that I'd never actually made a tart myself. So I went out, bought myself and flan tin, baking beans and a lemon squeeze and made my first ever lemon tart. I used this recipe from BBC Good Food (half-fat version!!!) and although the edges of my tart aren't perfect, I have done pretty well AND the end product is utterly scrumptious - and at the end of the day, it's the taste that counts, right!?

  1. I always find pastry cases so hard to bake evenly and look neat! So you did a pretty awesome job, yours looks really yummy and pretty
