Last weekend I made a banana bread which Joe and I enjoyed for breakfast. It is a perfect dish for a late weekend brunch because although it is sweet, it is not as sugary and rich as a cake or cupcake. It took about an hour to make (including the baking), I used very general ingredients and the longer it was in the oven, the better the whole house started to smell.
