Over the past 27 years I have had a number of haircuts. Up to the year of 10, I had very straight, almost blond hair, sported a bob and a full on fringe. Almost as soon as I turned 11, my hair started going all curly and huge and the following 5 years is what I like to call "the dark ages". My hair was a mess. I couldn't deal with the frizzy thickness and looked a total disaster. From about 16-17, I started getting to grips with it, grew my hair out long, maintained a side parting and a wavy fringe for about 3 years. In 2006 I fancied going darker and died my hair cocoa brown. After that I pretty much just let it grow, and grow, and grow. A week after I handed in my Master Thesis in January 2012, I decided it was time for a change and chopped it all off for the first time in ages, inspired by Olivia Palermo's do. However, the maintenance of it was such hard work that I decided to let it grow out again. Last week I decided to chop it all off again. This time I went for an Alexa Chung inspired haircut with a fringe and although the fringe is a lot of work, I am enjoying the new look. Let's see what comes next.
